Underground Detectives: Using Archaeology
Who’s digging? What are they looking for? What do they find? What does this tell us about the people of Bermuda in times gone by? Learn about the fascinating clues to our past that exist right under our feet! Visit the archaeology exhibit at Tucker House and the Archaeology Lab at Reeve Court and see the unique objects we have discovered. What do they tell us about life in Bermuda long ago?

Alternatively, we can arrange to come to your school and show a PowerPoint presentation on an archaeology dig at the historic home of Springfield, in Sandys. Sit back and learn about the process and the finds of this local dig. Learn about the historical context of Springfield, the people who lived there and the role archaeology plays in discovering history.
