Warwick Pond
One of a chain of wetlands along the length of Bermuda, this 9 acre pond and accompanying forest of predominantly allspice serves as an important stopover point for migratory birds. A number of resident birds inhabit this area as well. Using the Teachers’ Resource Binder for Warwick Pond available in your school, Middle and Senior Students learn plant identification and ecological principles by conducting line transects and quadrats in the various communities.
