Warwick
Pond Educational Nature Trail
The Trust has recently placed interpretive signs that allow self-guided
tours at Warwick Pond Nature Reserve. The Reserve, established in
1987 through the generosity of Dennis Sherwin, provides bird lovers
with opportunities to see both resident and migratory species. Now,
with the aid of interpretive signs, members of the public are also
able to more fully appreciate the different habitats (pond, marsh,
forest) and the accompanying flora and fauna including Bermuda’s
unique cedar, palmetto (and the difference between it and the invasive
Chinese fan palm) and killifish.
