Butterfield Nature Reserves
The Butterfield Nature Reserves are located on Point Shares in Pembroke
and were donated by the late Mr. Dudley G. Butterfield, C.M.G. The
wooded hillside has a trail through an almost pure Bermuda palmetto
forest with some fine examples of the rare and nearly extinct Bermuda
sedge. Nearby the Butterfield Nature Reserve South consists
of a banana patch and a short trail through a dense thicket of mixed
palms.
