Nature Reserves

Butterfield Nature Reserves
The Butterfield Nature Reserves are located on Point Shares in Pembroke and were donated by the late Mr. Dudley G. Butterfield, C.M.G. The wooded hillside has a trail through an almost pure Bermuda palmetto forest with some fine examples of the rare and nearly extinct Bermuda sedge.  Nearby the Butterfield Nature Reserve South consists of a banana patch and a short trail through a dense thicket of mixed palms.
