Sustainable Christmas Tree Programme – SOLD OUT
Sustainable Christmas Tree Programme – SOLD OUT
The Bermuda National Trust is delighted to announce that the popular cedar tree rental programme is back again.
Each year, thousands of Christmas trees are imported to Bermuda—only to be discarded after the holidays. This year, make your celebration more sustainable by renting one of 110 small potted Bermuda Cedar trees. These endemic trees will bring festive cheer to your home while helping to fight climate change.
After the holidays, you have the option to join our team in January at High Point Nature Reserve to plant your tree as part of a growing “Christmas Tree Forest.” Each tree will be digitally labeled and tracked, so you can visit and watch it grow year after year.
If you can’t attend the planting day, simply return your tree to Waterville for us to plant, or keep it to plant on your own property.
Each tree stands just under 4 feet tall (including the pot).
- Rental fee: $100 for members / $125 for non-members
- Care instructions will be provided with your tree.
Make this Christmas truly sustainable. Celebrate, plant, and give back to Bermuda’s natural heritage.
