Whispers From The Past

This unique tour tells some truly extraordinary stories of the lives and deaths of people buried in St. George’s cemeteries and graveyards. Some lived in the town their whole lives, some were garrisoned here, and some ended up here purely by chance. As we visit the site of each final resting place, Anna Stevenson, Heritage Education Manager for the Bermuda National Trust and curator of the tour, will reveal tales of heroism and sacrifice, astonishing family ties, curious characters, and hidden pasts.
Tour will start at the St George’s Cemetery on Secretary Road and later move to the St Peter’s Churchyard. Personal transport needed.
