Appleby at Sherwin Nature Reserve
Nature & Open Spaces
Here’s the perfect opportunity for your team to get active and make a long-lasting impact on our environment!
The Trust’s corporate volunteering workdays take place in our nature reserves across Bermuda and can be booked to fit your needs. Team members will learn new skills, strengthen team relations, and gain a great sense of achievement, while directly supporting our open spaces for the benefit of everyone in Bermuda.
The benefits of corporate volunteering:
- Your team will make a massive difference to our gardens and green spaces where most needed. Projects range from: removing invasive species; planting young endemic and native trees and shrubs; improving access to neglected green spaces by building new paths; and steps and learning traditional skills such as pruning, planting and soil conditioning.
- Your team will learn about: open space and conservation management; biodiversity and new facts about Bermuda’s flora and fauna; and take part in a satisfying challenge that will result in a sense of real achievement and heightened energy levels.
- Your business will develop valuable links with our organisation and make a positive, vibrant impact.
To book a corporate volunteer day, please contact Head of Natural Environment Myles Darrell at myles.darrell@bnt.bm.
